Seeing beneath the surface is essential… to the health of your eyes
Perspective is Solihull’s award winning independent opticians, they are the first in Solihull to invest in a revolutionary piece of diagnostic equipment that can more easily and accurately detect a number of key eye conditions, such as glaucoma, age related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy during a routine eye test. This piece of equipment is called a 3D Optical Coherence Tomography system (3D OCT), and was previously only used in hospital eye clinics.
“ I am extremely proud and excited that we can now provide the benefits of OCT scans to our patients. I have invested in OCT technology due to a growing feeling that if we could have scanned several patients straight away for hidden problems, rather than having to wait for their scans at hospital, more of their vision may have been saved. I strongly believe OCT will help me prevent vision loss for my patients.”

Serene Order
48 Drury Lane 0121 711 7467
www.gantuk.com
Since moving from Touchwood to Drury Lane two year’s ago Serene Order has never looked back. “Coming to Drury Lane was the best decision we ever made” says owner Nad Ahmed. “We’re in a premium environment which feels discrete and exclusive but still buzzy. You just can’t get that in a corporate indoor shopping centre”.

Its worked out so well that last year Serene Order expanded into the store next door and opened up So Serene – featuring a concept store from Religion Clothing and a new denim room. Whilst both stores showcase established premium labels including McQ by Alexander McQueen through to Dior, alongside these sit more inexpensive but still directional brands so it’s possible to buy a few statement pieces during the season but then also drop in and pick up some fun, less expensive brands to top up and refresh your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
The store seeks out and supports young up and coming designers, especially those that hail from the Midlands region. Heartbreaker Club Clothing is one such label – a menswear line that was new to the store in 2011 and now rivals established menswear favourite such as Luke 1977 Clothing and Judas Sinned. At the other end of the scale, Daniele Alessandrini is one of many leading high-end brands sold exclusively by Serene Order in the Midlands and this is what this store continues to bring to Solihull shoppers season in, season out.
2012 is set to be an exciting year for the Serene sister stores on Drury Lane – with new labels including Custo Barcelona and Andy Warhol for kids, J Lindberg and Donna Karan for men and European Culture and Patrizia Pepe for women.
