The Wedding of Mary & Dane Phillips

At Nuthurst Grange, Warwickshire

Mary and Dane Phillips enjoyed a fabulous Caribbean cruise honeymoon after their wedding.

Real estate lawyer Mary, from Solihull, and Dane, who hails from South Africa and works in corporate finance, now live in London, but returned to the bride’s Midland home to celebrate their marriage with friends and family.

The couple, who met at the University of Nottingham, married at St George and St Teresa’s Catholic Church, Dorridge, and enjoyed their reception at Nuthurst Grange, Hockley Heath.

The bride wore a Madeline Gardner dress, bought from Sallie Bee Brides in Hall Green, Rachel Simpson shoes and a marabou stole from Abercorn & Co. In the old traditions of “something borrowed”, she borrowed her veil from her friend Alex Blanchflower, who was also a bridesmaid.

Other attendants were Mary’s sisters Rebecca and Amanda, friends Simone Porter-Smith, who introduced Dane and Mary, and Alex.  They all wore Mark Lesley “Marilyn” dresses.

Dane, his brother and best man Andrew, and groomsmen Laurence Peuleve, David McAdam, Eyal Glozer and George Cooke all wore suits from David Aitchison Menswear in Knowle.
