James and Anita marry on the romantic island of Mallorca
A small Spanish church in Mallorca was the perfect setting for the wedding ceremony of Anita Thapa and James Cheal.
James, who is a director of a property maintenance company, and Anita, a sales representative for Porcelanosa, met on Valentine’s Day in 2009 and got engaged on Christmas Day the following year.
They sealed their love on June 15, 2012, in front of 42 of their closest friends and family, including parents Vivienne and Indra Thapa and Julie and Tony Cheal, who all joined the couple for a sumptuous wedding breakfast at Villa Italia in Port Andratx.
James chose his brother Mathew to be best man, while Anita, who wore a dress by Ronald Joyce and shoes from John Lewis, asked her sister Nicky to be her maid of honour.
The couple, who are both aged 30, exchanged rings from Cheshires of Solihull.
On their return to England the couple, who live in Solihull, held a party at James’s family hotel, The Arden Hotel, for family and friends who did not make the trip to the Mediterranean island.
After all the celebrations, the couple enjoyed a relaxing two-week honeymoon in Mauritius.
